LEOSS, Inc. was founded in 2003 when a market opportunity presented itself in the public service supply industry.  Some of the most popular firearm and public servant supply businesses were taking advantage of their consumers in a very specialized market...POLICEMEN, FIREMEN and PARAMEDICS.  LEOSS, Inc. stepped in to fill the gap.  We use the same suppliers as the local retailers, we just mark up our products enough to cover our expenses.  The difference is the SAVINGS...that savings gets passed on to you!!! 

Most of our clients are in public service, or are the relative of a public servant, but we will supply some goods and services to the general public.  Since some of the products offered on our site are law enforcement sensitive, those products  WILL REQUIRE PROPER IDENTIFICATION to complete the sale.   BATFE rules apply to all firearms purchases.

MANAGEMENT

The President and owner of LEOSS, Inc is John (J.T.) Kurtz Jr., was born  Aug., 1971 in Cleveland, Ohio to John and Laura Kurtz.  John grew up in Independence and attended all parochial schools, graduating from Padua Franciscan HS in 1989, went on to join the Army from 1989 to 1992, participating in Operation Desert Shield/Storm with Charlie Company, 27th Engineer Battalion (COMBAT) (AIRBORNE).  From 1994 to 1999 he worked for his family's construction company (Kurtz Bros. Inc.) operating heavy equipment and learning how to operate a business.  

John is currently employed by the Independence Police Dept., a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio.  John was hired in May of 1999 and holds the rank of Sergeant and is a Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission certified firearms instructor.  John is also a member of International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA).
